*At times, it may be possible to have your logistical meet up prior to your guided day. In this case we will make plans to meet directly at our climbing parking area on the day of your climb.
**It is not always necessary or convenient to meetup prior to your adventure day. For certain climbing areas that are not located within a reasonable convenient distance from Seven Bays Bouldering, or if you are visiting Nova Scotia and staying at a location that is not reasonably convenient to meet up beforehand, please contact us and we can arrange alternate plans.
***Please know that Seven Bays Bouldering has 2 locations in Nova Scotia. Our meetups take place at the Seven Bays Bouldering Bayer's Lake location, not the Halifax Gottingen St. location.
We'll start our day with a brief logistical meetup at 8am at Seven Bays Bouldering, one of our local indoor rock climbing gyms. Here you'll meet your guide for the day, discuss adventure plans, and receive any gear needed for your outing. Once we've sized everyone up for a harness and gear, we will depart from this location, rendezvous at the parking area near our climbing destination (typically a 30 minute drive) and begin the fun!
Your climbing day is yours to customize. Our guides will recommend specific areas and climbs based on what type of experience you are looking for. Typically, the day will be light on instruction (although you'll learn a few cool things about the gear) and heavier on actual climbing. Some folks prefer to have a little more education mixed in with their day so we can also set things up with an instructional heavy focus.
